This course is designed for aspiring trainers and for practicing trainers who desire to get certified. To meet the long felt need of a comprehensive course for modern trainers that is practical and guided and mentored by experienced senior trainers with various tips and tricks and above all a holistic approach to become a better trainer and a coach; the Diploma in Soft Skills Training was launched. This is the only Professional course for Training of Trainers in the country that is designed to meet today’s training and manpower development challenges using technology to make the sessions more engaging. It is also the only course that includes modules on Digital marketing and using AI tools. It has the flavour of distance learning in which a student can attend live mandatory classes / sessions from the comfort of any place, is not a correspondence course. IITM’s Diploma in Soft Skills Training is designed to enhance the quality of training delivery. This training programme is of duration 6 months and the Language of delivery is English only. This is a self-paced learning course.

Eligibility Criteria

Post-Graduate or equivalent PG Diploma in any discipline (MBA in HR preferable) OR professional degree holder like B.Ed., LLB, MBBS, CA, AICWA, M.ED OR Graduates or its equivalent Diploma from a recognized university (BE/BTech/ BBA/ BCA/BSC/BA/BCom/ LLB. OR Armed Force Officers who have successfully undergone course at NDA/IMA/OIA/Air Force Academy/Indian Naval Academy and veterans from all three wings of defense (Army/ Navy/ Airforce). OR Retired officers of Police Department and Fire Brigade

Enrollment

Admission and enrollment happens four times a year in the month of January, April, July and October. Applications for admission are accepted in the prescribed forms only. For individual attention, batch size is limited to 10 only. Batches start from the 3rd Monday of the months (Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct) in a calendar year if it is not a declared holiday.

Exams and Assignments:

There are 9 papers in this course. A candidate needs to submit one assignment per paper (guidance and framework provided) explaining the content as understood by the candidate, based on attending contact classes or from other sources of information (as gathered personally). Candidates have to clear online MCQ type exams on completion of every two papers, like the online contact classes these exams too can be taken from anywhere through internet. Marks allotted per paper will be based on the assignment + score of exam.

Registration and Course Fee

For general students: The course fee for the above mentioned course is Rs.44,000/- At the time of admission a student can pay one time lump sum fee Rs.40,500/-

For Senior citizen or ex-service persons The course fee for the above mentioned course is Rs.35,500/-

For Students Outside India Course fee US$ 600/-

Registration is valid for a period of 2 years- provided full fee has been paid. No refund of course fee will be made once the admission is granted.
